Figure Study 4 by ARoulette Figure Study 4 by ARoulette
This was the first piece that I used watercolor with graphite and I loved using them together so I started doing it all the time. 11"x18"

Great work in the back muscles. I'm a little bit unsure of the objects in the background, but you really blended the two mediums very well.

your works have the essence of a still life (not drawn/painted from a photo)even though you do use photos for reference. your work has a nice soft feel to it. i'm glad i found you. im gonna add you to my devwatch.

Yep great effect.
But it's confusing for me how you used them together? First was drawing and then you puted watercolor on it?
And how You do posing for most of your works? I mean Are you taking photo first? Yep I know it's stupid question ;P

I adore your gallery , i enjoy your deep look at the figure and the themes of everyday life that appear in some of your works.
Your style and themes are very individual.
In this piece i like the perspective, its like a snapshot photo feel.
Very sensitive piece of work. Im gonna have to devinatwatch you.
